The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Friday, April 6th for LouLou's Spicy Cafe in Zephyr to welcome them as new members.
LouLou's Spicy Cafe is located in Zephyr at 11800 Hwy 183-84. They are open Thursday from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm and Friday thru Sunday from 6:30 am to 9:00 pm. They offer enchiladas, smothered burritos, street tacos, carne guisada and taquitos served with queso, just to name a few.
They will be hosting their Grand Opening on Saturday, April 14th from 6:30 am to 9:00 pm and will be featuring the Keagon Lee & The Heard band out of Austin, Texas from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. There will be 4 drawings for two dinners with a drink valued at $25.00.

Show Cones offers a wide variety of flavors and toppings to custom create a Show Cone. They also offer coffee, tea and sodas. Show Cones lets customers make their own "creations" of products for a unique experience.
Customers can participate in their March creation competition and vote on their favorite Show Cone. The winner receives a season worth of free Show Cones.

The Vault is a rentable indoor space that offers 1,900 square-feet and is available to rent for smaller, more intimate events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, luncheons, corporate events and a variety of receptions and celebrations. The Garden which is the attached outside venue is also available for various events.
The Vault was originally the home of the Coggin, Ford and Martin Bank, an elaborate 19th-century structure. The bank’s vault is still intact in a tiny room at the rear of the venue of which the venue is named for.

Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce Holds Ribbon Cutting for Stephen Scoggin, MD of Brownwood Surgical Associates
The Brownwood Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, March 7th to welcome Stephen Scoggin, MD of Brownwood Surgical Associates.
Dr. Stephen Scoggin graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1983 and from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston McGovern Medical School in 1987. His postgraduate experience included training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, The Julian Rickles Fellowship in Surgical Oncology, and completed his surgery training at Texas A&M University College of Medicine, Scott & White Memorial Hospital in 1992. He cared for patients in the Brownwood and Brown County area from 1999-2010, and looks forward to continuing the relationships of former patients and creating new patient relationships. His areas of expertise include general surgery with a special interest in gastrointestinal disease and endoscopy. He is currently accepting new patients.

Stagecoach Station Venuesfeatures a rock livery dating back to the 1870's that was once a stagecoach stop and a house that dates back to the early 1900's, surrounded by 20 park-like acres. It can be used for outdoor concerts, outdoor market events, weddings or other special events.
