The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Caring Family Network on Friday, October 4th to welcome them to their new location at 114 Early Blvd.
The Caring Family Network is a non-profit child placing agency for foster and adoptive children in the state of Texas. They will be holding their 4th annual fundraiser event “A Nite at the Races” on Saturday, October 12th at the Brownwood Country Club. The fundraiser benefits the children and families located in and around Brown County and primarily goes to help give them a more magical Christmas.
A “Nite at the Races” is a fun-filled evening with action-packed thoroughbred horse races, door prizes, live and silent auctions as well as live music.
Attendees will enjoy a steak dinner, drinks and the music of the Josh Grider Band. Silent auction items will also be available. Tickets are $65 per person and are available for purchase at the door or through Caring Family Network at 325-646-3222. All participants must be 21 or older to attend.
