“Good Samaritan Ministries exists to touch the untouched,
love the unloved and reach the unreached.”
And they’ve been doing so for 30 years now.
The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce held a Business During Hours for Good Samaritan Ministries on Wednesday, October 18th in celebration of their 30th anniversary serving the less fortunate of Brown County. Business leaders and community members came by meet the wonderful staff and volunteers who make it all happen. We also received tours of the facility and the many programs Good Samaritan runs including: Food Pantry, Home Bound Program, Food for Thought, The Deer Project, The Pig Project, Homeless Boxes, Financial Assistance, The Resale Store, The Donation Center, Volunteerism.
Let’s #TackleHunger this Thanksgiving! Find your groups items one the list. Good Samaritan needs 1800 cans of green beans, soup, cornbread mix, jello, and vegetables. WE CAN DO IT!
