The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce wrapped up their 3rd annual Total Resource Campaign on March 26th and far exceeded the $100,000 goal for the year.
Volunteers working in two teams sold more than $118,000 in sponsorship for the chamber. The team Saving Private Porter led by Robert Porter of Porter Insurance sold $69,925 and the Producers led by Priscilla Monson of West Central Texas Valuation Services sold $49,379.
Kim Peterson of the Lehnis Railroad Museum was the top volunteer with $32,185 in sales. Edda Ratliff earned second place with $15,170 in sales while Warren Yehl from Brownwood Regional Medical Center was third with $10,935.
The Total Resource Campaign helps chamber members take advantage of sponsorship opportunities in a unique way. During the seven week campaign, volunteers sold sponsorships to local businesses for events, programs, and publications offered by the chamber.
The TRC is designed to give Chamber members an array of opportunities to become more involved in the organization through greater public awareness of chamber programs, projects and events.
Thanks to all of the volunteers who participated in this year’s campaign making it a great success.
