The date of the Leadership Brownwood Day One Retreat has been moved to Thursday, August 30. The event will be held in the Chamber of Commerce Bertrand Technology Solutions Board Room from 9 AM to 4 PM. Throughout the day, participants will get to know each other and hear from local community and civic leaders on the subject of “Lessons on Leadership.”
Following the retreat, Leadership Brownwood participants will learn a different topic each month through April, including:
- History and Tourism
- Manufacturing/Economic Development
- Education/Training
- Health Care/Nursing
- Social Services
- City, County Government
- Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice
Leadership Brownwood Classes are limited to 20 participants who are affiliated with a Chamber Member Business and there are still a few openings. For information about joining this year’s class, contact Laura Terhune at the Chamber: 325-646-9535.
