The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Thursday, January 18th for The Brownwood Jaycees to welcome them as new members.

The Brownwood United States Junior Chamber (JCs or more commonly Jaycees) is a not-for-profit corporation/organization. They are a leadership training and civic organization for people between the ages of 18 and 40. Areas of emphasis are business development, management skills, individual training, community service, and international connections.

The goal of the Brownwood Jaycees is to provide members with opportunities to gain the experience needed to become more effective civic and business leaders and provide an environment where members can meet others with the same ambition.
