Camp Bowie Family Aquatic Center
The Camp Bowie Family Aquatic Center is one of Brownwood’s newest and most popular attractions.
Open during the summer months, key features of the Camp Bowie Family Aquatic Center include a slide tower with slide, water geysers, a tot slide, coolbrellas, a pavilion, 4 lap lanes, a diving board, zero entry beach, a current channel, and much more. There is also a concession stand with light snacks, bath house, and small lockers available for rent. The new facility is located directly across the street from Gordon Wood Stadium.
Fees for the aquatic center are as follows: General admission will be $2 for 12 & under; $3 for 13 & over; seniors 60+ are $1.75. Season passes are also available.
The capacity of the aquatic center is 424 people and requires 10 life guards to be on duty.

The Camp Bowie Family Aquatic Center will open Tuesday, May 30th for the 2017 season. They will be offering two daily swim sessions and will also have extended hours on Tuesdays & Thursdays until 8:00pm for family swim time. Wiggins Pool will open the regular hours on Tuesday May 30th which will be Tuesday thru Sunday 2:00pm to 5:45pm.
