The Young Professionals of Brown County hosted the Kicks 4 Kids Shoe Drive on August 4, 2021 between 11 am – 2 pm. Shoe donations were delivered to the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce located at 600 E. Depot Street.
After the drive, The Young Professionals of Brown County delivered shoes to area schools. The Kicks 4 Kids Drive produced close to 150 shoes that were disbursed through the Child Welfare Board of Brown County, Brownwood ISD, and Early ISD. These donations will provide the school counselors an opportunity to help students that need proper footwear in this upcoming year.
Thank you to the generous nature of the Brown County Community for making this year’s Kicks 4 Kids shoe drive a success. Thank you to everyone that donated shoes, money, and time.
