The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for Lucille + Mabel Kitchen and Libations on Thursday, June 8th at 11:30am at their 114 Center Avenue location.
Owners Christian and Tammy Nance envisioned a new kind of restaurant and bar to bring into a flourishing downtown Brownwood, and they wanted to create an overall, high-quality experience from the moment you walk in. Formally the First National Bank Building, the unique décor creates a one-of-a-kind atmosphere with signature cocktails served at the bar that houses over 250 different varieties of whiskey, a full menu that offers dry-aged, premium cut beef, family style sides, and chef specials. After cutting the ribbon and introducing his family and team with a big smile, Christian stated, “It’s a family affair. We’re just a family that’s trying to serve Brownwood really well.”
The name and silhouetted logo were created in loving tribute to Christian and Tammy’s grandmothers. Lucille + Mabel celebrated their 1-Year Anniversary on June 2nd.
