On August 26, 2021, the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting for the Boys & Girls Club of Brown County, Inc. Teen Room.
Kathrine Palmer, CEO for the Boys and Girls Club, welcomed chamber members to light refreshments and a tour of the Teen Room. The Teen Room includes an area for arts & crafts, computers, tutoring/homework help, games, and a library. Students in the Teen Room can also enjoy age-appropriate games on X-Box and PlayStation. This room is designed for middle and high school students.
